Sacha has a background in developing and directing new plays for theatre, bringing a high level of dramaturgical skill to her current work in Extended Reality formats.

Sacha’s previous directing work for theatre includes: BOY (Almeida) by Leo Butler; GAME (Almeida), by Mike Bartlett; WILD SWANS (Young Vic) by Jung Chang, adapted by Alexandra Wood; SUCKER PUNCH (Royal Court) by Roy Williams; RANDOM (Royal Court) by debbie tucker green; MY CHILD (Royal Court)by Mike Bartlett; GENERATIONS (Young Vic), by debbie tucker green; TRADE (RSC/Swan Theatre & Soho Theatre), by debbie tucker green; PLATFORM (ICA), adapted from the novel by Michel Houellebecq; A NUMBER (Theatre Project Tokyo) by Caryl Churchill; GUANTANAMO (Tricycle Theatre, Ambassador’s Theatre, Off Broadway), co-directed with Nicolas Kent.

Sacha was associate director of the Royal Court Theatre (2007 – 2013), and an associate at the Young Vic Theatre (2010 – 2017). She is currently associate of the National Theatre Immersive Storytelling Studio and digital innovation associate at English Touring Theatre (ETT). She is on the advisory board for the iCCi.

LEON BAUGH

Leon is an Olivier Award-winning movement specialist with a background in contemporary dance.

Leon was a performer for the Hofesh Shechter Company, performing in UPRISING, IN YOUR ROOMS and POLITICAL MOTHER.  He also danced with Jasmin Vardimon, Liam Steel, Steven Hoggett and Kim Brandstrup. He has provided movement consultancy and choreography for theatre, opera and television including: SUCKER PUNCH (Royal Court Theatre) for which he won an Olivier Award; BOY (Almeida), GAME (Almeida), Wild Swans (Young Vic), THE IMPORTANCE OF BEING EARNEST (Royal Opera House, Linbury Studio Theatre), TIGER COUNTRY (Hampstead Theatre), WILD (Hampstead), JOHN (National Theatre), TREASURE ISLAND (Sky Films), SKINS – as associate choreographer (E4).

Leon is also a qualified osteopath. His comprehensive understanding of the dynamics of movement means he is uniquely qualified to work in emerging mediums such as motion capture that require a depth of understanding of skeletal positioning. Leon provides extended reality movement consultancy to the National Theatre Immersive Storytelling Studio and has worked with motion and volumetric capture and lidar.
